About Me:
My name is Madison Orendorf. I am a passionate, driven, organized individual with a love for teaching! I am a recent graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. I am dual certified to teach general education (PK-4) and special education (PK-8).
My love for teaching began at a young age. I grew up playing "school" with my younger sister. Throughout my elementary school years, I admired many of my teachers and would often volunteer to stay inside for recess to help clean the erasers and sharpen pencils. My senior year of high school, I volunteered in a kindergarten classroom with the same teacher whom I had when I was in kindergarten! My passion has since grown through my field experiences at West Chester University. My schooling, extracurricular experiences, and self-reflection have helped and continue to shape my professional practice each day in order to positively impact my students.
West Chester University has prepared me to become the best teacher that I can be. I look forward to sharing my love of learning with my students through reaching and teaching in a variety of styles to meet the needs of all learners.
